HOW TO MEASURE A CHARGE AIR COOLER CORE

Although a charge air cooler core resembles a radiator core, they are measured differently. A charge air coolers core:

Width is the space between the tanks from header plate to header plate.
Height is from the direct top of the coolers core to the direct bottom of the core.

Three specific measurements are needed to ensure the correct size of the charge air cooler; height, width, thickness.  The thickness is also known as the depth.  Accurate information will be needed when a charge air cooler is available Recore only.
